Shipping
At Simonett we aim to get items out as quickly as possible. Upon ordering from us with regular shipping speed, you can expect your order to have a 1-3 day processing time. During holiday or peak season, orders can take up to 5 business days to process due to high order volumes.
Pre-order items show the estimated shipping date on the product listing. If you order ready-to-ship items together with a pre-order item, we will ship all together to reduce packaging materials and emissions. If you wish to have your RTS item shipped first, you must email us to make this request at support@simonett.us and may be subject to extra shipping fees.
Orders within the United States are shipped via FedEx 2day. However, this time frame is an estimate and unexpected delays may occur. If expedited shipping is desired, the option for increased shipping speed is available. If expedited shipping speed is desired after an order has been placed, please contact our customer care team to provide payment info and have your package's shipping status upgraded.
For international orders we use FedEx International. We offer FedEx Priority, FedEx Economy and FICP service. Services available are dependent on the destination country. International order arrival times vary due to their destination. Sometimes, unexpected customs delays have been known to occur. When placing an order for international shipping, the customer agrees to cover taxes, import duties, VAT, and any additional customs-associated fees with their shipment. Please note these fees are non-refundable. We charge taxes on most international counties at checkout and pay them to the destination country customs office ourselves. This expedites the shipping process and ensures you do not have to make any additional payments to the carrier in order to receive your package. If the destination country is not eligible for DDP then the customer will have to pay the duties directly to the carrier once the package reaches them.
Please note, Simonett is not responsible for your package after it has been dispatched from our warehouse. This includes lost, stolen or missing packages via the shipping carrier.
We offer package protection via Route for a small fee that insures your package against lost, stolen damaged during transit or missing items contingent to their terms and service. This service is automatically added to all eligible orders at checkout and applies towards your order unless the service is manually removed from the cart before checkout. If you purchased Route package protection on your order, all claims for lost, stolen, damaged or missing merchandise are to be filed with Route directly and all outcomes are contingent to their terms and service. Simonett is not responsible for insurance claims denied by Route.
We insure all packages with a value over $500 with the carrier directly and require a signature at delivery in order for the package to be released at the delivery location provided on your order. A tracking confirmation is emailed to the customer once the package is scanned by Fedex and the customer is responsible for making arrangements to be able to sign for the package on the day the package is scheduled to be delivered. Fedex will make up to 3 attempts to deliver a package and collect a signature and also offers the option to hold the package at a nearby Fedex location for the customer to pick up the package should they not be available to sign for the package on the assigned delivery day. If a signature is unable to be collected on any of the attempted delivery dates and/or the customer does not pick up the package at their nearby Fedex location within the timeframe Fedex allots for pick up, the package will be returned to sender. Simonett is not responsible for sending the package back out in this instance and the customer is responsible for coordinating and covering the new shipping fee should they want the package to be redelivered. Simonett does not offer refunds or order cancellations in this instance.
Duties are calculated by the destination country and will be expected to be paid directly to FedEx when your package reaches your destination country. FedEx is a participant in notifying the customer of any additional charges as they are incurred in the shipping process. In the event a customer chooses to reject said duties and fees associated with the import of their Simonett purchase, the package may be rejected entry into the destination country.
Simonett.us will not assume payment of duties and fees for international shipments at any time. Rejection of these fees is at the customer's discretion. However, failing to pay the necessary customs and import fees may cause shipping delays or non-shipment. We do not offer refunds on orders that are refused by the client as a result of failure to pay duties and taxes on your order. If a package is returned to sender the shipping and return fee will be deducted from your refund amount. We do not offer refunds on unclaimed or abandoned packages.
