Feel-ings is a sculpture project by artist Jimena Montemayor that addresses the physicality of troubled human emotions such as worry, uncertainty and overall confusion. Despite the delicate importance of how we truly feel in moments of weakness and darkness and how it affects our daily life, Montemayor treats them in a humorous, creaturelike and friendly manner. After all, we need to learn and understand that such feelings are normal, and come and go. Consequently, she channels them into colorful, ambiguous, tubelike, puzzled shaped "beings" made of polymer clay that explore an evolving language and responsive dialogue. 100% of profit from this project will be directly donated to the ACLU.
